On Sunday 29th October a great drama took place on the streets of Newcastle Gateshead, inspired by Dr Martin Luther King Jr. and stories of epic civil rights struggles from across the globe, both past and present.
The performance was directed by acclaimed theatre director Tim Supple, scripted by BAFTA-award winning playwright Roy Williams and adapted by Katie Ebner-Landy.
Thanks to all performers, participants and volunteers for bringing this amazing drama to life. Thanks also to all of those who joined us on the streets of Newcastle and Gateshead for what was a truly memorable event. Thank you to Newcastle Gateshead Initiative and Northern Roots for their delivery of this project.
